Features of heat shrink labels

1. Advantages of heat-shrinkable labels

①The transparency of the heat-shrinkable film is high, so the label has bright colors and good gloss.

②It can be mass-produced and is a label that is independent of product production.

③The heat shrinkable film is close to the product after shrinking, the packaging is compact and the appearance of the product can be displayed, and the packaged product is beautiful. For example, the milk dolls and Shuangwaiwai probiotic fermented yogurt of Hangzhou Wahaha Group use heat shrinkable labels. The unique shape of the special-shaped bottle is covered with a pattern that fits the bottle body design, which is full of interest and can capture the hearts of children at the first time.

④The shrink film has good wear resistance and high strength to ensure that it can bear the weight of the contents. Printing belongs to the printing in the film (the picture and text are in the film sleeve), which can protect the imprint, and the label has better wear resistance.

⑤The heat shrinkable packaging process and equipment are relatively simple, the heat sealability is good, and there is no need to use adhesives when labeling.

⑥ Now beverage containers have unique shapes and more and more individual designs, and heat shrinkable film labels can clearly show the outline of the outer surface of beverage containers. The heat-shrinkable film is close to the product and the packaging is compact, which can be applied to the packaging of irregular products; the excellent adaptability to the bottle body is the reason why Xiamen Yinlu chooses the shrink label. Most of Yinlu's products use shrink labels.

⑦Heat shrinkable film as a label saves forest resources, reduces costs, is hygienic, and is easy to use.

2. Disadvantages of heat shrinkable film labels

①It is necessary to consider that the shrinkage rate of the graphic image is the same as that of the shrink film in order to reproduce it accurately.

② The ink used in the printing of heat shrinkable film labels must also have a certain shrinkage rate in order to accurately reproduce the graphics.

③Because the heat-shrinkable film label must be shrunk during the printing process, and the barcode can only be read by accurate reproduction, it must go through the strict design and printing quality control, otherwise the quality of the barcode will be unqualified or unreadable after the pattern shrinks and deforms.
④ The printability of most heat shrinkable films is not very good, and pre-pressing is required.
